Class Etiquette

  • Cell phone use is not permitted during class time -- please leave phones on silent or turn them off

  • Negativity and disruptive behavior is not tolerated at ESDC. We ask that distractions be kept at a minimum while class is in session. Teachers reserve the right to ask a student to sit out for a portion of class

  • Personal space is imperative in a dance class. Please respect others in this shared environment

Note to Parents:

  • Children will not be permitted to enter the studio until 5 minutes prior to the start of class. If they arrive earlier, they will be required to wait outside, so we urge you not to leave them unattended. [There are several restaurants and cafes in the area that can comfortably accommodate the wait]
  • We understand that children may get anxious as class time approaches. However, please understand that shaking and banging on our door can be both disruptive to classes that are in session as well damaging to the door itself. We kindly ask you to address such behavior if it occurs
  • Please make sure your children use the bathroom prior to arriving to prevent from emergency bathroom needs while another class is in session
  • Parents will not be allowed to watch while class is in session, as it is a distraction for the students
